BHU Sense is a basic Strong Motion Sensor Developed under Patent No. 496293 , Govt. of India of IIT Roorkee with a TOT to SHRI Pvt Limited.

This device is useful for strong ground-motion recordings for earthquake engineering purposes in the free field as well as health monitoring for mega engineering structures. This may also be further used for earthquake early warning Systems.
